Jeannine Schafer is an SF area based illustrator. As a child she was torn between being a zookeeper and an artist, but for reasons she can't quite recall she eventually abandoned her dreams of opening the world's first underwater zoo to pursue art. She continued to study and draw the animals she loved and discovered her focus as an artist in this passion. Today she strives to create stylish and fun illustrations that will also help raise awareness and interest in the animals she loves.

  • How long will it take to receive my order?

    Thank you so much for your order! The Neenerbot Shop is a one person show and in order for me to keep up with making more art and balancing my life, I only do my shipping once a week, typically on the weekends. If you are in a hurry, reach out to me directly and let me know and I will do my best to expedite your order. Otherwise, expect your domestic order to take up to 2 weeks to arrive at your door step. For international orders, the time it takes depends greatly on where it is going and local postal services, but I would anticipate up to 6 weeks to be safe.

  • Do you take commissions?

    I often get asked if I take commissions, and the short answer is "sometimes?"

    I work full time outside of my shop and don't have a ton of time outside of this to create art, so when I do have time to make something, this is extremely valuable to me. Commissions require a commitment from both the artist and the "commissioner" where we work together to create a very personal piece you will value and love for years to come. In order to guarantee you, the commissioner, this level of commitment to a final product you will love and value, I only open a few slots a year and the base cost is $500 for a single character digital illustration. Prices change for more characters, complex backgrounds, or special medium requests.

    Please be patient about getting a response back, I do see your emails, but I am often traveling for shows or busy with other commitments. I do respond to every email, but it may take 1-2 weeks. Thanks!
